In 2014 I moved from Denmark to California with my Cairn Terrier, Adonis. He was my home in a new country.

In 2021 I started this brand with him by my side. When my dad got sick with leukemia, I asked him to write "barks" for our logo before we lost him. He passed at the end of that year. His handwriting is in our logo. It always will be.

 

I designed the bag I always wished existed — a walking bag that looks like a designer purse. Then found out I was pregnant. Then lost Adonis four months after my daughter was born.

 

My daughter arrived July 11, 2025.
Adonis left November 7, 2025.

 

7.11.25 and 11.7.25. He waited just long enough.

 

This brand carries his name. My dad's handwriting signs every product. My daughter is the reason I'm rebuilding it — during nap times, during evenings, one step at a time.
